A Reading Room in the Christian Science faith is a place for quiet contem- plation and education. It serves this dual purpose in what is generally a small space accessible from inside the church as well as to the general public.

We set out to explore several options on where it might be located and our client decided the perfect spot was on the ground floor adjacent to the sanctuary and the front door. In our collaboration with a Eric Rains Land- scape Architects we developed an outside connection a reading garden.
